We had another exciting season. With challenges of golfers not playing as much as the previous year due to the state of the economy, golf along with other recreational activities were reduced in family and personal budgets. Even though our season has ended, members may still continue post their scores year around. We are currently working on tournaments for 2010 and considering removing some of the less played tournaments from 2009 and adding new ones. Take advantage of utilizing our 19th hole suggestion box if you would like to recommend a tournament.

In the best interest of our members and charity we regretfully will not hold a championship event this year. As CGA continues to raise awareness, we believe our invited members could not justify the expense of travel for a newly held event with minimal participation. The charity focused event would also not benefit to the level needed. Using the market as indicator our economy continues to improve, so we look forward to 2010. For this inconvenience, we will extend the membership through the end of next year to all current members as of 8/31.
