I recently spoke with a friend of mine that was telling me about an organization that helps Maui's youth realize the promise of their future.  "Beyond the Rainbow Foundation" is an all volunteer organization with all the proceeds going to the youth. No one involved makes any money. I love organizations like this. If you analyze most organizations, you will find typically 10%-50% of donations do not go direction to the charity. Some of "Beyond  the Rainbow Foundation" near future goals:

• Support existing programs and resources that are focused on addressing the needs of Maui youth.
• Promote and create opportunities that inspire, educate and nurture talents of Maui youth.
• Partner with the Maui Business Community to develop premier fundraising events while attracting visitors to Maui.
• Provide visibility to the positive efforts by existing programs serving Maui youth and the areas that still need attention

Most people focus on the local communities in their charity efforts. I can understand that, but challenge those considering a golfing vacation to call them and find out more about "Aloha Team Classic". You will have the opportunity to vacation in Hawaii while participating in fantastic world class golf, great accommodations for those that require them (some provide their own), great social events and even some good natured competition some of the best golf in the world. If your still hesitate, consider this: Over 65% are previous participants. That is a great statistic!

The "Aloha Team Classic"  is a four day event with three days of golf, three evening events, breakfast and lunch each day and starting last year including the option to play with LPGA tour professionals this event is geared towards players from all over the country that enjoy golf and travel.
