Outerbanks Soundside View

I'm in the Nags Head, North Carolina enjoying our annual family vacation. The weather is 78 and sunny. I could not ask for a better day. Each year we rent a beach home in the Outerbanks. In recent years it's been on the oceanside, but this year we decided to try the soundside. The home is beautiful and the views of the sound are breath taking. Waking up in the morning and sitting on the deck drinking a cup of coffee is an awesome way to begin a day. The local people are friendly and welcome you as if you were their neighbor.

I can't explain enough in words the memories we create every year. In today's economic times, it's a great escape for a week to laugh and relax among love ones. It's funny, I have never been a sound sleeper, but during this week, I sleep like a baby. I guess it means I'm happiest with my family around me.
